A doorbell system consists of four parts - a doorbell chime, a push button, a transformer, and the wiring. These components are connected together as shown in the wiring diagrams below. However, if there is an issue with the chime, it may not necessarily be the source of the problem. Please refer to the "Troubleshooting" section below for common issues and troubleshooting tips. This doorbell chime offers two sounds - the classic two-note "Ding Dong" sound for the front door button and an additional "Dong" sound for the rear or side door.

To ensure compatibility, use a 16-volt/10 VA or 16-volt/15 VA transformer (not included) when connecting to a regular doorbell. You can search for "16TR" or "3TRAN" to find a compatible transformer.

The doorbell chime features a textured white modern finish and is easy to install with your doorbell button and transformer. It is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

Also, please note that some customers have reported that our wired chimes, such as this one, work with video doorbells like Ring. However, we cannot guarantee this compatibility.

Finally, if the chime is not functioning properly, the issue may or may not be with the chime itself. The problem could be with the doorbell button, transformer, or the wiring. Please consult the troubleshooting steps provided in the manual or on our website.
