To set the codes, you will need to match the DIP code on the transmitter with the receiver inside your ceiling fan. Simply remove the battery cover of the original remote and look for the DIP switches hidden behind the slot for the battery. Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the original remote. Replace the battery and you're good to go.
